Duties and responsibilities:
  • Work to improve efficiency and quality in delivering healthcare services
  • Keep up to date on new laws and regulations so the facility complies with them
  • Supervise assistant administrators in facilities that are large enough to need them
  • Manage finances of the facility, such as patient fees and billing
  • Create work schedules
  • Represent the facility at investor meetings or on governing boards
  • Keep and organize records of the facility’s services, such as the number of inpatient beds used
  • Communicate with members of the medical staff and department heads

Education:   Medical and health services managers typically need at least a bachelor’s degree to enter the occupation. Histology specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Histology Specialists include both Histologist Technicians and Histologists.  Histologists are also referred to as Histologists.  Both histologist technicians and histologists prepare tissue samples that are used by physicians to determine if a patient has a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy. Histology technicians and histologists prepare samples by using equipment to thinly slice tissue samples.  They then mount the thin slices on microscope slides and use chemicals to stain them so important structures are visible.
Salary: $22,000 - $35,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. To become a histologic technician, students must either earn an associate's degree in the field and complete a one year internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination.

Duties and responsibilities.
 Duties -Physical therapists typically do the following:
  • Diagnose patients’ dysfunctional movements by watching them stand or walk and by listening to their concerns, among other methods
  • Set up a plan for their patients, outlining the patient's goals and the planned treatments
  • Use exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients’ pain and to help  them increase their ability to move
  • Evaluate a patient’s progress, modifying a treatment plan and trying new treatments as needed
  • Educate patients and their families about what to expect during recovery from injury and illness and how best to cope with what happens
Salary. $33,840-$76,310.
Education: Physical therapists are required to have a postgraduate professional degree. Physical therapy programs usually award a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, although a small number award a Master of Physical Therapy (MOT) degree. Doctoral programs typically last 3 years; MPT programs require 2 to 3 years of study. Most programs, either DPT or MPT, require a bachelor’s degree for admission, and many require specific prerequisites, such as anatomy, physiology, biology, and chemistry.Physical therapy programs often include courses in bio mechanics, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology. Duties and responsibilities.  Health Information Specialists obtain, post, and analyze medical, workload, finance, and insurance data.  They ensure that this information is properly recorded into medical records so practitioners can plan and evaluate health care provided to patients. There are a variety of job specialties within this field including Registered Record Administrators, Accredited Record Technicians, and Certified Coding Specialists.  Administrators coordinate the various information management responsibilities and supervise record technicians and coding specialists.  Record technicians ensure medical records are accurate, coordinate reimbursement, and maintain disease registries for research.  Coding specialists assign and post correct diagnosis and procedure codes to records and report codes to insurance companies.
Salary: $30,000-57,000
Education; Postsecondary certificate and associate’s degree programs in health information technology typically include courses in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, health data requirements and standards, classification and coding systems, healthcare reimbursement methods, healthcare statistics, and computer systems. Applicants to health information technology programs increase their chances of admission by taking high school courses in health, computer science, math, and biology.

Duties and responsibilities
Genetic counselors are trained specialists who determine risk factors for hereditary diseases and disorders in patients. They provide genetic testing and offer education and counseling to patients and their families. A master's degree in the field is required, and some states mandate censurer
 for the profession.
Education
Those interested in the field must complete a master's degree program in genetic counseling. Due to the small number of accredited programs, graduate schools often have a highly selective admission process. Students can prepare for admission with undergraduate courses in chemistry, biology, genetics and psychology. Schools may require or strongly recommend paid or volunteer experience prior to enrolling in the professional program. Graduate program coursework requires clinical training through internships where students learn about the following:
